GomezKada Summer 2007

My friends and I went on a summer trip at Matabungkay, Batangas last 29th of April. We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights. It was lots of fun.

• We ate sweet and chili saucy prawns and grilled fishes, beef steak and porkchop.
• Stayed in a native hut.
• Rented a balsa.
• Swam a lot.
• Took photos.
• Slept under the stars at night and under a mango tree in the afternoon.
• Rode a boat to go to the other side of the island.
• Was a bit scared because there were lots of rocks and plants under the water and it feels like it's gonna pull me in or weird-looking fishies would bite me.
• Watched the sunset 3 days straight.
• Watched the sunrise once. On our first day.
• Slept in.
• Picked green mangoes from the mango tree, but never get to eat it.
• Got drinking session while having a bonfire.
• But i slept through it.
• Waking up and finding out that someone is lost which gave us all a scare. Then finding him again and was relieved.
• Almost ate a seaweed from the sea 'cause Ian threw it at me.
• Got tanned a little.
• Having gone for a swim at around 12 noon which is terribly hot.
• Being a parasite. e.g. clinging on Pao or David or Glen while swimming because the water is too deep it reached my eyes and scared the shit out of me.
• Braided Pao and Glenn's hair. And Mae's and Gillian's.
• Sang a lot inside the jeep. concert. singing Jessica Simpson's "Public Affair" again.
• And Mariah's "Always be my baby" with my since-fetus bestfriend and David.
• Listening to someone talking on her cellphone and made fun of her. My since-fetus bestfriend's real mean. haha.
• Pulled over at Tagaytay to eat Bulalo and sizzling squid. Yum-mee!
• Mang Bert bought us buko pie. Thanks po.
• Went on the trip at 12 mn, 29th April. Went home 12 mn, 2nd May.

It was really fun. Back then, my friends and I used to go to this 5 ft. swimming pool at Makati because that's the nearest one and my parents wouldn't allow me and my sister to go to places like Batangas. But well, we're big girls now. Just like what I reasoned out to my Dad.

"Nakapunta nga ako ng Singapore eh, Batangas pa kaya."

Well, as long as I can go, so as Manx. I'm her hope. haha. Anyway, now it's resting time. I got tired with all those things...haha.
