Mall Tour

The Gomez Kada (got from Pao, hehe.) and I went to the Megamall last Friday, May 26. We watched X-Men 3: The Last Stand. Mae and I would really like to watch Da Vinci Code, so we told the others about it. But unfortunately, walang Da Vinci Code dun.

Faerie:Ano ba panonoorin nila?”
Mae: “X-Men daw.”
Faerie: *make face*Ehh…Da Vinci Code na lang tayo.”
Mae:O sige ba. Libre mo ‘ko?”
Faerie:Sige.” *turns to the boys*Oist, manonood na lang kami ni Mae ng Da Vinci Code.”
Mae: *nods*
Siops: “…k…”

After a while…

Siops:Manonood kayo ng Da Vinci Code?”
Faerie: “Yup.”
Mae: “Oo.”
Siops: “O sige ah, manood kayo…” *malicious grin*
Glenn:
“Sige…nandito tayo sa Megamall eh…”
Faerie and Mae: *gasps*Oo nga pala!!!!”
Siops and Glenn: *LOL*

And so, the both of us were stuck with those evil people *cough Siops and Glenn cough* watching X-Men 3.

I was freezing inside; I forgot to bring my jacket. Siops was rubbing my hand but he was freezing too. Hehe. Turns out the movie was really good. I loved it. Especially the last part when Jean Grey said, “Save me.” And Wolverine said, “I love you.”…Aawww, I love that part. (Ha! Spoiler alert..hehe)…

Anyway, when I was a kid, I used to play Marvel VS. Capcom (that’s it, I think. Or was it…Oh well, basta it’s X-men… *grin*) on PS at Patricia’s house. I remember I always use Storm and Wolverine (you have to pick 2 characters, as far as I can remember). Watching the movie made me reminisce those days. *smile*

So after that, we went to the arcade. The boys played the boxing thing, and you’ll have your picture taken, tapos susuntukin nila yung red na punching bag. Mae and I got our picture taken and the boys smashed the red bag real hard. Owww…may galit yata talaga yun samin. Hehe! Poor red punching bag, all these time getting beat up…*sigh*

Anyway, I played the House of the Dead (II?). I was screaming a little. Pressured ako eh..hehe… we played a few games and took lots of photos. But sad to say, the photos were accidentally deleted. I’M SORRY!!! The only pictures left were mine, Pao’s and Glenn’s… Here they are:

Die, Zombies! Die!

Sorry David! It was an accident! *smiling nervously*
Anyway, we had fun! That’s what vacation is all about! Woohoo! Sulitin ang bakasyon!

Much Love!

Lunch at Pao's House and Mae's Birthday!

For two days in a row, we had our lunch at Pao's house. Starts at 12:30 pm, then after lunch we'd go upstairs, to his room and watch movies. His parents went out of town so all that's left was him and Daday, their helper.
Lunch day 1 Pao and Ian posed

Here are the casts:
Pao (of course, the owner of the house), Mae (birthday celebrant), Jesa (that's me!), Josette, Ian, Glenn, John, David, Lawrence. (Only 3 girls..huh.)

On the second day of the "Salo-salo", it was Mae's Birthday (Happy Birthday!) and instead of going to Makati for a fun swim, we just celebrated it on Pao's house. Bagyong Caloy stopped us from having fun. It was raining hard and so cold and the sky's gloomy. Aaawww...

We brought our own food from our own houses. Glenn and John brought the rice as usual, David brought adobo (which is my fave. delish!), Mae and Ian brought fried chicken, Me and Monkey brought menudo (made by our Big Sis, which Monkey insists that she cut the potatoes and carrots...and that's a big help?!)

Before going to Pao's house to eat, we went to Glenn's (and John's) house due to some technical difficulties (we're using Pao's PC to watch movies but the VCD won't play). So, eating time was delayed and I was freakin' hungry. Almost all of us, actually. Mae and I was groaning and saying, "Ano ba 'yan?! gutom na kami!"
Pao: "Sandali na lang."
David: "Ayan, may ulcer na 'ko."
Faerie: "Ano daw?" *chuckling*
Mae: *laughing her infamous laugh* "May ulcer na daw sha."
Faerie: *laughing with her*
Ian: "Wala na. Payat na 'ko."
Mae and Faerie: *laughing out loud*

So, I just tried to forget that I was hungry and took pictures of me and the others..
Faerie and Ian David's Vanity Faerie and Pao Pao's Vanity

When they were finished, we all said, "Thank God!" and went to Pao's house. (while taking pictures!)

Mae and Me in Payong Payong Kainbigan! haha!

We sang the Happy Birthday song for Mae and she got all teary-eyed and then we prayed for God's blessings.
Tears of Joy. hehe

Boys will be boys. They were so fun to watch while eating. Ang dami nila kumain, gaganahan ka rin. After I ate, I took pictures of them. Mae and I laughed at the pics, as usual. Hehe.
Ian and Josette, nilalantakan yung menudo! Gutom Glenn! Finished Eating David's Glass Commercial

Simot talaga!! Pao, Huminga ka rin! Pao parang sawa!

Pao and Mae. Food Fight?! After Eating!

After that we watched movies. On the first day we watch Saw 2...ugh! I was so damn scared, I almost tore Glenn's shirt...I was hiding behind him and he got instant massage because I was squeezing his shoulder. It's bloody and I even dreamed of it, the part when this guy threw this girl in a pit full of injection thingies. Ugh! *shaking in disgust*
But even though I hid all through out the film, I understood the plot and whatnot.
Next film was A Walk to Remember. Ahhh..the mushy side of Paolo! The film was stored in his PC. I've watched it before and I didn't cry. But I got teary-eyed after seeing it the second time, the part when Shane West told Mandy Moore's dad, "I'm not going anywhere." or something like that (the time when Mandy already told him that she's got leukemia).
Then I went home because I have to buy Jaco's milk.

On the 2nd day, Mae, Glenn, Pao and David rented films. They borrowed Dodgeball, House of the Dead and Beautiful Mind. First we watched a Beautiful Mind, but after a while the Kids (hehe) got bored, I think. So, Pao changed it to House of the Dead. It wasn't scary at all. Then Monkey and I went home, the rest watched Dodgeball.

I had so much fun and I think they did, too. For sure pag may pasok na, we would see each other a little less often. For sure Ian will still hang out with Glenn outside our house (the usual tambayan), Glenn, kulang sa tulog o hindi will still go out, I think. I would be very busy for I have major subjects to worry about. (Worry?! hehe) Mae would be busy, too, I guess. But knowing her, I think she would still find time to go out. Monkey, she's in college now and maybe she'll still go out but not as often. Like what Mae said, "'Di n'yo na makikita si Josette sa labas." John and David, maybe they'll still hang out. Pao, I dunno...I think he had fun last New year that he went out as often as Ian does. I guess, he had fun this summer...maybe he'll still go out.

Oh well, whatever happens.

Much Love!

Swimming and more swimming!

Last sunday..we didn't go to 8 Waves, but we did have an outing. It's my mother's birthday yesterday but we celebrated it last saturday.

We went to Loreland in Antipolo.

1st: Me and the Hut background.
2nd: (from left to right) Yummy, Nanay (at the back), Marj, Monkey and Faerie
3rd: Me and Falls
4th: Yummy, Lolong and Me

Yeah, but we had lots of fun. Pretty pools. And most were crowded. And as a person with a bad sense of direction, I would get lost if I'll be wandering there alone.

But there is one pool that we really liked, especially me. It was like a jacuzzi, the water was cool. It was small, but I like it there. Plus, there's no chance that it would get crowded. Though it's small, only a few swims there. Well, they couldn't swim there anyway, you couldn't straight your legs if you were to lie down. And we (my family) think that only a few knows that pool. Oh, and Jaco swam there. In trunks! Too bad we didn't take photos of me, we forgot to bring our fones.

1st: Me and Yummy in the jacuzzi thingie! Oh, how I love to have that in my house!
2nd: Me, sisters and cousins in the pool.
3rd: Still Me, sisters and cousins in the pool.
4th: Ate Ime, Me and Monkey @ Loreland

On Saturday, we (the Gomez Peeps) are going to Makati (In a pool at the rooftop of my mom's former office building), like what we usually do every summer since, i dunno, 2002 or 2003... You have to have a reservation, so the place is exclusive for us, cool water, may shade pa yung pool, malapit pa, kahit 5 feet lang na straight yung pool...well, di naman din ako talga swimmer. I so like that place!

Much Love!

New Blog, Matabungkay and Puerto Galera dreams!

It took me forever (again) to arrange my blog. I just wanted a new color and stuff. I really needed help with these html thingies so I asked my Monkey sister to help me.

It's still underconstruction. I need to have a new header. My old header doesn't suit the new thing.

Oh yeah, and the music being played is Canon in D major. I was looking for a Depapepe song. More like I was looking for Summer Parade by Depapepe but Monkey told me, "Asa." so I just picked this song. She also told me "Wala ka nang bagong post."

Anyway, my friendster account's colors are green and yellow and olive. The same as FaerieWings. It's summer so I better change it to something summer-y. hehe. Besides my favorite colors are green and yellow. I thought maybe I should use green as the background color but if my posts (font) are yellow it would be hard for you to read it. Oh well, whatever.

I haven't been to any beach or pool this summer. The Gomez boys went to Matabungkay and we were left in Gomez dreaming of going to Puerto Galera (Me, Mae and JV and Josette), going there by plane (a private plane), swimming in a white sand beach, drinking margaritas or tequilas instead of granma or tanduay (that's what the Gomez boys drank, I think).
On the day before their departure, Mae, JV and I were teasing the boys about how we're going to Puerto Galera in a private plane. We were teasing them because we weren't going. Wala lang, gusto lang mang-asar.

Me, Mae and JV: "O sige, kita-kita na lang tayo pagbalik namen galing Puerto galera."
John-john: "E, diba Batangas din yun?"
Me, Mae and JV: *sweatdrop* "Batangas din ba 'yun?"
Mae: "Kasi sabi nito ni JV Palawan eh."
JV: "Anong ako? Um-oo lang rin ako eh. Ito nagsabi oh." *pointing at me*
Me: "Malay ko 'ba."
Me, Mae and JV: "O sige kita-kita na lang sa Batangas."
Me, Mae and JV: "Mauna na kayo, kasi di ba jeep lang sasakyan nyo? Mamayang 6 pa yung flight namen eh."
Pao, David, John: *faint smiles*
Me, Mae and JV: *laughing out loud*

I found out that Puerto Galera is in Oriental Mindoro.
To get there, take a bus from Manila to Batangas Pier followed by a 2-hour boat ride from Batangas Pier to Puerto Galera. Puerto Galera is approximately 4-hours from Manila.

So, yun. Nang-asar lang 'ata kami kasi maiiwan kami sa bahay. But that's ok.
They sure had a lot of fun. Dahil hanggang ngayon nasisingit pa rin yung mga happenings sa Matabungkay.

On May 6, we're going to 8 Waves. That's in Bulacan. I'm kinda excited, I haven't been there.

Much Love!

Banaue Tour!

I went to Banaue last April 5-7, but it took me a lot of time to post this one.
What? Uhmm...writer's block? nyaha! Sorry I just got so lazy...
Anyway, I've got beatiful pics of the place...

1st: Me and the closest creatures I have in the College World @ View Point
2nd: Me and My Girls @ View Point
3rd: Friends @ the entrance of Banaue Hotel.

1st: That's how the terraces looks like.
2nd: We were on our way to Sagada.
3rd: Still the terraces. Ain't they beautiful?

1st: The Hanging Coffins
2nd: We went to cave (pro sa entrance lang)
3rd: Well, that's me. hehe. Those coffins are made of tree trunks, and the corpse are in fetal position. But of course, their all skeletons na.

1st: With Lola. I gave her some money, but I didn't know that I have to. My classmate told me "Bigyan mo, kahit 10 pesos. Parang tulong mo na 'yun." and I was like, "Ah, ok." so I gave her 20. Maliit lang yung nabigay ko..
2nd: That's the cultural show @ the Banaue Hotel. Our last night in Banaue.
3rd: My friends and the locals (performers). One of them was our local guide, Kuya Mark.

1st: I took this pic @ the border of Mt. Province and Ifugao. (At the top, shempre..hehe.)
2nd: My postcard pic @ View Point.
3rd: Going to Sagada. Me and My friends.

1st: Rei and tree. That's in Sagada.
2nd: Me and the statue @ Banaue Hotel
3rd: A 20-feet Mother Mary.
4th: Me and Mhae in front of the Mother Mary statue.

There are still lots of photos but it would take me forever to upload it all.
Anyway, the trip was fun. And I've learned a lot about Banaue and their culture as well as the things about the Banaue Rice Terraces. It would really be a shame kung pababayaan lang yung terraces. I really hope it would last.
